Rachel S. DiMicco is an artist, printmaker and handmade creator in Albany, NY. She received her MFA in Printmaking from SUNY New Paltz with solo exhibitions to follow. She went on to teach experimental printmaking and travel. Her work continues to explore new boundaries of image making. DiMicco uses raw materials in their state of change to induce contrast, color and movement. She creates layers of transparency with experimental drawings techniques and material exploration.
